DeLaval Ireland Office

DeLaval Ireland Office

In 1931 Alfa Laval as it was then opened its first agricultural company in Ireland based at Hawkins Street in Dublin. Since then the company has changed from Alfa-Laval to DeLaval and had several locations in and around Dublin.

So on August 17th 2004 DeLaval moved out of Dublin to a brand new multi-use centre in the heart of the Irish countryside at Graiguecullen in County Carlow.

DeLaval is a company used to dealing with change we have been a market leader for the past 100 years our ability to change and adapt to our markets ensures our strong market position, in fact today is really no different to the challenges faced in 1931

It was time to move out of the city to a new location closer to the customers with the decision made to create a multi-use centre with offices for sales and local marketing activities, a knowledge centre for training and dealer development and a place to bring customers.

The investment was a key element in our goal to create a successful partnership with, and be the preferred supplier of the Irish dairy farmer.

We have found it much easier for people to visit us and in fact we often get dairy farmers dropping in for brochures and quotations for equipment. The training facilities are absolutely superb the rooms are light and airy and our students don’t drop off to sleep anymore even after lunch

The centre has had several major training events including the all Ireland Alpro® training which was very well received by the DeLaval dealers. It means that technical support on the farm for this product is first class.

In keeping with the DeLaval tradition the centre presents a very professional image, a place where the new directions, new challenges and new attitudes of the Irish dairy farmer will be most welcome and the partnership cemented in the best practical way to the benefit of both partners.
