This milk meter is manually operated. A measured amount of milk is drawn into the plastic vessel during milking. Afterwards, the yield can be easily read from the sight vessel. The measured milk is then transferred to the milking line by a simple push-button mechanism. No milk is wasted and there is no need to change the plastic vessel, so it’s simple and quick to use.

DeLaval milk meter MM6 is designed for in-place-cleaning. This means it can be included with the milking plant during the cleaning cycle and does not have to be taken to the milk room. This helps ensure first-class cleaning and lowers the risk of breakage.

DeLaval milk meter MM6 is approved by ICAR for consistently accurate readings and is approved for official milk recording in most countries. It requires no electrical connection, has no moving parts and a long working life.
