MidiLine milking system is a batch system where each cluster is shared between two cow’s stalls, one on either side of the parlour. This feature makes the parlour very cluster efficient when compared to systems with one cluster per stall.
MidiLine can be pre-assembled and tested for functionality at the factory. This makes installation on the farm extremely fast and easy.
This system can be installed in any stalls. You can select from Herringbone 30, 50 or parallel and variable distance between cows. The MidiLine milk line diameter varies from 52mm to 101mm and is available in up to 44 milking points (2x44 stalls) according to ISO norms. You can choose from a basic system with pulsation and clusters to a complete herd management system. Upgrading the MidiLine system is easy because of its modular concept. The optional swing-over arm provides excellent cluster alignment and enhances operator comfort by maximizing available space in the pit area. A wide range of clusters and end units are available from the DeLaval range.

MidiLine can be delivered pre-assembled in compact modules which can be easily installed in any existing or new building. This saves a lot of installation time and costs. The pre-mounted receivers are specifically designed for MidiLine systems. The system is constructed to make the most of space constraints. All the automation equipment, except part of the cleaning device, is mounted over the head of the milker where buildings normally have the most space.
Electronics and other components should remain high and dry. MidiLine gives protection from humidity and dirt. The pit can be cleaned using high-pressure cleaners without any risk of damage to equipment.
As milking units are shared between two stalls the cluster is never idle. The MidiLine can achieve similar parlour capacity as a Double Up or LowLine, with significantly less capital requirements.
