Herd management

The management of a dairy farm is similar to managing a large corporation. In contrast to a large business owner, the dairy farm owner usually sets his/her own goals, provides the management of the business and performs all or part of the labour. This makes it difficult to separate management from daily tasks, as both must be performed at the same time.
