The DeLaval milking cluster MC53 is engineered to handle the highest producing cows. It is ideally suited to milking less than twelve hours a day. It is designed to offer milker and cow comfort. MC53 combines stainless steel shells with a patented TF (Top-Flow) technology claw and helps reduce vacuum fluctuations at high milk flows.
The MC53 effectively uses a 360 ml claw to cope with high milk flows up to 15 litres per minute. It helps to eliminate flooding during peak milk flow, thereby providing stable vacuum throughout milking. The liners attach directly to the claw using nipple-less design so there is nothing to restrict milk flow.
The patented TF (Top-Flow) technology offers quick and gentle milk flow away from the claw. A specially designed centre pipe increases milk flow capacity.
The unique liner design and short milk tube connection provide safe milk flow into the claw. The short milk tube exceeds current industry standards to reduce the risk of cross-flows and milk plugs. This helps to ensure good udder health and milk quality. The easy-to-use manual shut-off valve also acts automatically if the cluster is accidentally kicked off.
This cluster is designed to minimise stress on the milker’s body and the cow’s udder. It can be combined with different liners to provide maximum milking performance – offering a comfortable routine. MC53 liners simulate the natural suckling motion of a calf to encourage fast milk let-down for quicker milk-outs.
