Top quality milk needs good cleaning
DeLaval water heaters are designed to help provide optimal milk quality and long-term economy. Correct water temperature is essential to effectively cleaning a milking machine and is therefore vital for good milk quality. To maintain correct water temperatures it is important to prevent entry of cold water into the heater during the cleaning process. DeLaval offers several different systems for this purpose.

Includes a manually operated ball valve to prevent cold-water entry when drawing off hot water. A rod thermostat controls the temperature and the analogue thermometer reads it.
All heaters are open topped for easy cleaning and descaling. The outer casing is made in plastic coated steel with a choice of either copper or stainless steel for the inner cylinder. |

All models in the range have a large 19 litre external header tank with full size brass ball valve, inlet service valve and insulated aluminium lid. Heaters 160-680 litres have two 28mm outlets, with an extra half capacity outlet on all models 295 litres and above |

24 HOUR PAC
24-hour time clock fitted on the heater for control of the heating element
VAC PAC
External vacuum operated pinch valve to eliminate cold water entry when drawing off hot water, plus digital thermostat and sensor probe to set & display temperature
DUAL WASH PAC
2 x 24 hour time clocks fitted on the heater to allow separate control of the heating element and cold water fill via a heavy duty external solenoid valve. Digital thermostat & probe for combined temperature control and display
1 CLOCK REMOTE CONTROL BOX
Remote control box containing 1 time clock for control of heating cycle and a digital thermostat for setting and reading the temperature.
(use in conjunction with Vac Pac for fully automatic option)
FULL REMOTE PAC
Remote control box with digital thermostat for setting and reading the temperature, plus twin 24 hour clocks for separate control of the heating element and cold water fill through a heavy duty external solenoid
DX COOLING TANK PAC
Comprising 0.5hp hot water pump delivering 20 litres/minute @ 20psi with 24 hour or 48 hour clock for every day or every other day collection. Fully compliant with the water Byelaws and fitted with a Type A air gap in header tank.
Support stands are available for the full range of water heaters. The tray is made in 16 gauge steel to fully support the base of the water heater with the legs in 16 gauge for extra compressive strength. There is also a handy tray for "above floor" storage of chemicals etc.
