BH White and Son based at Cannington Nr Bridgwater have been appointed DeLaval dealers for North Devon. This latest addition complements the company’s other DeLaval dealerships in Cannington Somerset, Sturminster Newton in Dorset and East Devon
BH White and son was founded in Cannington nearly 100 years ago as an agricultural dealer. The company became DeLaval dealers over 40 years ago and now, into its third generation, the White tradition of good service and value for money is being carried on by the founder’s grandson Matthew and his wife Dawn.
Matthew said: “This is a family company built on good customer service and expertise. We are here for the long haul and I’m hoping my two sons will follow after me”
With an installation team of five, which includes an electrician and a refrigeration engineer and six milking machine service engineers, all with full DeLaval accreditation, and four sales vans, BH White and Son are well able to give excellent service to their new customers in North Devon.
In order to have a good base in the area they have taken over Cow Care North Devon whose proprietors David and Margaret Ogle decided to retire after long and successful careers serving dairy farmers in the area.
David said “We are pleased that BH White and Son have taken over our business. They have the same values of family and customers as us and we recommend dairy farmers to them.”
David and Margaret and will be around for a few more months to help the transition run smoothly.
The new DeLaval dealership based at the Cow Care North Devon premises will carry the full range of DeLaval equipment and aftermarket products.
This means the dealership will be able to continue offering a first class service to the many loyal DeLaval customers in the area.
