Royal Ulster Winter Fair
DeLaval was once again pleased to exibit at a packed Royal Ulster Winter Fair.
However all did not go exactly according to plan for us as a transport delay of our main Voluntary Milking Display resulting in it being exibited outside the entrance!
However we had a lot of very interested visitors who braved the weather to come outside to see it. To all these people we say a big thank you.

Our inside stand was a regular Aladins cave of AfterMarket products. We had everything on display from Cow Brushes to Chemicals and Clusters to Cleaners all of which are stocked by our local dealers

Everybody was in fine sprits, even during negotiations over a Swinging Cow Brush!
The Minister of Agri & Rural Development Michelle O'Neill was on hand visiting stands and promoting her departments efforts to simplify and improve the regulations covering the Agri-Food Businesses. They were very keen that farmers bring their concerns to them and they promise to investigate the issues and try and make things simpler.

Another area which was going well was the dairy cattle judging with many excellent entries. This years judge was Lynn Lee from Smyma Tennesse, USA.
Lynn is a lifelong registered dairy cattle breeder with wide-ranging experience as an auctioneer, as a type evaluator for the American Jersey Cattle Associtaton and as a show judge. The RUAS was delighted to welcome a judge of such high calibre.

The Winter Fair was warm and frendily and an excellent place to do business. To all our friends and customers - next year we will endevor to be inside the building!
